The ICT International Annual Conference serves as a forum to discuss the current state of the art, to present new methods, ideas, and research results and to further improve scientific understanding in the field of energetic materials. +++ 21 March 2024 – The program and registration are now online. +++

+++ 19 February 2024 – The detailed program with registration information will be published in April. +++

+++ 29 September 2023 – Extended abstracts: In 2024 extended abstracts will be also accepted for the conference proceedings to replace a full paper. Hence, presenters can save copyrights for later publications e. g. in peer reviewed journals. +++

+++ 15 September 2023 – Speaker award: In 2023 the Wiley PEP Speaker Award was presented at the Annual Conference of Fraunhofer ICT for the first time. The Award reflects the conference‘s commitment to acknowledging excellence. Even two presentations have been awarded in 2023. +++

 

53rd International Annual Conference – our topics

The International Annual Conference of the Fraunhofer ICT, with different emphasis each year, cover scientific and technological progress in the entire field of energetic materials and the related disciplines. The 2024 conference will be held with the emphasis on Structure and Properties and includes the aspects:

New Energetic Materials and Structures – Synthesis and Processing – Characterization and Testing – Modelling and Simulation – International Cooperations and Programs

Awards

Traditionally, the best poster of the conference will be awarded – always a hard decision for the poster committee. New is the PEP Speaker Award for the best oral presentation. In 2023 two presenters got this award.

ICT-Tour

Also traditional, attendees are invited to visit the Fraunhofer ICT for a tour of selected laboratories and pilot plants, followed by a BBQ and a special highligt.

Venue

The conference will take place in the Gartenhalle of the Karlsruhe Convention Center - an event location in the heart of Karlsruhe city.

Hence, a variety of hotels and restaurants are nearby, and the conference site is within walking distance to the castle, the main station, and the shopping streets.

 

Prices

  • Registration fee (incl. proceedings, coffee breaks, lunch): € 900,--
  • € 500.-- will be charged for cancellations after June 18th, 2024
  • No-shows will be charged the whole fee.

The confirmation is subject to Fraunhofer Compliance.
